PTC scams (updated weekly)

Yes you read that right. Many PTC websites are scams. For every person claiming an income of thousands of dollars, there are a thousand others who will vociferously vouch that the particular website is a scam and how they were conned.

So what do we do? Give up on online earning and stay away from all websites? NO, that's not the answer. The fact is 90% of the PTC websites are scams or will turn into a scam. There are however long standing regularly paying sites. You can find some paying sites HERE

What exactly is a PTC scam

Someone with enough knowledge decides they are going to start a PTC site. They define all good terms and conditions, with good security software and servers. Initially they pay a few members until the site becomes well known and investors are attracted. Then one day they state sudden payment gateway issues and stop paying. Some sites suspend your account after you upgrade or buy shares (also known as revenue shares or adpacks). Revenue shares are a method where you invested a fixed amount and get back a fixed amount with interest in a certain period like 30/45/60 days. Some websites stop operating after a high amount of money has been accumulated. Some will suspend your account right after you decide to cashout. They state its because you violated some terms of service and not pay you.

There are many other ways in which a PTC scam operates. Basically you lose your money and time and efforts that you may have invested.

What should I do?

The PTC industry is largely unregulated. The same scamsters routinely set up websites under a new domain or name and get away scot-free each time, largely because of legal jurisdiction problems and investors being unable to pursue such things for lack of time or knowledge.

Instead what we can do is apply some common sense. What do we do when we are not certain or do not know enough about something. We ask friends, search the internet, learn from other people's experience. That is what you should do.

These are well known scams, some of them long running where I have myself lost money. They pay selected members. probably only those who invest the highest and sometimes even post fake payment proofs on their forum and other places online.
